Author’s Note: This fic is set in late 2007, or in other words, a few months before I started writing it. It was meant to be a gift to sarcasticsra then, but once I’d set it up, I realized I had absolutely no idea what to do with it from there. I periodically returned to it, but made little progress. Now I’ve again found myself wanting to write her fic, and finally, the characters have complied. Enjoy a fic five years in the making!

Author's Note: Thanks to sarcasticsra for the beta, and thanks to Jasmine for the unintentional inspiration. She made the Cat on a Hot Tin Roof comment ages ago, in reference to a different Sorkinverse pairing.

Author’s Note: Written for Yuletide 2011. I forgot to post it here back in January, so here it is for Christmas in July. Thanks to sarcasticsra for the beta.

'A Living Princess,' Blackadder, PG

Title: A Living Princess
Author: edna_blackadder
Rating: PG
Character: Princess Leia of Hungary
Word Count: 2,995
Disclaimer: I’m about 20 years too late, and entirely too American, to own Blackadder. No money is being made from this, and no copyright infringement is intended.
Summary: Dead men tell no tales, but a living princess might.
Author’s Note: Written for Yuletide 2010. Yes, you read that right; I forgot to re-post it here. Also, I had to invent quite a lot of history in order to reconcile the Adderverse with something resembling plausibility. This story operates on the premise that Richard, Duke of York, the future King Richard IV, killed his brother, the boy king Edward V, during some deadly childhood entertainment, without intent but also without regret, and that Richard, Duke of Gloucester, rather than punish his budding bloodthirsty maniac of a nephew, instead nurtured his young ward’s battle-hungry spirit as he assumed the throne as King Richard III. Elizabeth Woodville never forgave her brother-in-law for this, and so allied herself, as she did in actual history, with Lady Margaret Beaufort to arrange the marriage of their children, Elizabeth of York and Henry Tudor, upon the latter’s expected seizure of the throne by right of conquest. And thanks, as always, to sarcasticsra for the beta.

Title: Automatons
Author: edna_blackadder
Rating: PG-13: creepiness in spades
Pairings: past Napoleon Solo/OFC, vaguely implied Napoleon Solo/Illya Kuryakin (if you want to see it, it’s there; if not, it’s not)
Word Count: 1,979
Disclaimer: I’m about 40 years too late to own The Man From U.N.C.L.E. No money is being made from this, and no copyright infringement is intended.
Summary: This is a remix of “Ecclesiastes,” a very awesome fic by epicycles and a clever, creeptacular-in-a-good-way take on the series’ dramatic change in tone from S3 to S4. The original story reveals the cause; this remix attempts to show the effect.
Author’s Note: Written for the Exhibition Remix challenge at mfuwss. Thanks to epicycles and kleenexwoman for organizing this, and thanks as always to my beta, sarcasticsra.

Title: ‘Logopolis’ Made No Sense, So I Wrote Crackfic
Author: edna_blackadder
Rating: PG
Pairing: Doctor/Master
Word Count: 493
Disclaimer: Doctor Who belongs to the BBC. No money is being made from this, and no copyright infringement is intended.
Summary: A cracky alternate interpretation of ‘Logopolis.’ The Watcher being a projection of Five made no sense to me, because Four didn’t know he was about to die when the Watcher first appeared. As such, this is the real reason Four regenerated.
Author’s Note: Another one for fics_of_shame! This is unbetaed crackfic, but at least I wrote something.

Title: Seven and a Half Years
Author: edna_blackadder
Rating: PG-13: alcohol abuse
Pairings: Casey McCall/Dan Rydell, Sam Donovan/Dan Rydell, Sam Donovan/Dana Whitaker
Word Count: 4,536
Disclaimer: Sports Night was created by Aaron Sorkin. Given the corporate nature of TV, I’m not sure who owns it, but definitely not me. No money is being made from this, and no copyright infringement is intended.
Summary: Sam runs into a very drunk Dan and kindly takes him home. The next day, Dan wakes up with a disturbing gap in his memory.
Author’s Note: Enjoy a fic two years in the making. Thanks to sarcasticsra for beta reading, encouragement, and helping my severely math-challenged brain crunch numbers, and thanks to rabbitfics for allowing me to drag her into this fandom and inspiring me to finish this story with her myriad emails of episode commentary and squee. You both rock, and you both made this thing MUCH better than it otherwise would have been.
